Understanding CSGO Competitive Cooldown Time

What is CSGO Competitive Cooldown?
First Offense: 30-minute cooldown
Second Offense: 2-hour cooldown
Third Offense: 24-hour cooldown
Fourth Offense and Beyond: 7-day cooldown
How Cooldown Levels Work
If a player receives a 7-day cooldown on January 1st, it will end on January 8th.
The player remains at offense level 4 until January 15th.
If the player commits another offense on January 8th, their offense level increases to 5, resulting in another 7-day cooldown.
The cooldown ends on January 15th, and the player will remain at offense level 5 until January 22nd.
To reduce the cooldown back to 30 minutes, the player must avoid any violations for four consecutive weeks.
Example Scenario
Initial Penalty: The player is penalized on January 1st, with the cooldown ending on January 8th.
Maintaining Offense Level: The player must avoid further violations until January 15th to reduce their offense level.
Subsequent Offense: If the player commits another offense on January 8th, their offense level increases to 5, and they receive another 7-day cooldown.
Cooldown Management: The player must avoid violations for four weeks to reduce the cooldown penalty back to 30 minutes.
Special Case: Disconnecting from Matches
- If a player disconnects with 1 minute left in the first match, that 1 minute does not count towards the 3-minute countdown.
- If the player does not rejoin by the end of the second match (1 minute) and the third match (1.5 minutes), they have 30 seconds left on their countdown.
- If the player rejoins during the fourth match with 40 seconds left, they can play until the end of that match.
- If the total time exceeds 3 minutes, the player will be kicked and penalized.
